Picture of the Day Vacation Post #9

My mom, Bunny, Lila and I headed up to St. Pete's beach yesterday to meet my friend Erika, her daughter Girly and her neice Hannah.  They live in Vermont, but Erika and I have been friends since we worked together on a review blog several years back.  We met once in  person in Philly a couple of years ago and have been keeping up with each others blogs.  As luck would have it, we were both in Florida at the same time.  I am on the south end of Florida, closer to Miami and she was in mid-state, closer to Orlando.  St. Pete's beach was a great compromise.

Because the drive was about 3 hours, my family decided that we wouldn't want to drive back home and decided to stay in a hotel overnight.  We had the most amazing dinner at this little seafood place in St. Petersburg too.  It was a small, local place, but it had the best food.  It was the kind of place where they give you a roll of paper towels instead of napkins and comes complete with small town charm.  I had crab legs and shrimp and loved it  All in all, it was a great day!
